Sponsoring a student

The Rotary Club as a Sponsor Club connects with an outbound student. To be a sponsor club, you can simply sign the application, pay the money and we will do the rest. Alternatively, you can get involved and make a real difference to a person and their family.

Having the student to meetings before and after they travel overseas on their Exchange year helps make the association with Rotary a long and fulfilling one.

The club appoints a counsellor who keeps in touch with the student while they are overseas.

Financial commitment

The cost is $950 plus GST which is used to cover the costs for three orientation events, paying for travel to meetings, buying the student a blazer, and printing calling cards and other administration costs.
