How long will they be with us?

It is ideal if three to four families host the students during the year. This gives them a varied experience. The ideal term is three months, a school term each, but can be changed to suit everyone involved.

During the year, the District Committee may have district activities for the students, which often take them away for a few nights.  These include the North Island and South Island Tours, the pre-tramp, District Conference, Orientations and sometimes a get-together weekend.
